What is atrazine?
Atrazine is a herbicide from the triazine group. It is frequently used in agriculture to control weeds in cereal, maize and sugar cane fields. Atrazine inhibits the transport of electrons during photosynthesis. This leads to the death of the plants.
In some cases, atrazine was detected in groundwater and surface waters.
Due to environmental concerns and possible effects on health, the use of atrazine has been restricted in some countries. Its use has been banned in Germany since 1 March 1991 due to the risk it poses to groundwater.
A study was published a good ten years ago. This showed that the OestrogenThe impact of human pollution is changing the sex of frogs in natural waters in the USA. Males are becoming females, mainly due to the effects of herbicides.
One of the main culprits is undoubtedly the herbicide atrazine, which is not only found in extremely high concentrations in groundwater.
The harmful effects of atrazine on human health
Corn syrup or invert sugar contain atrazine, which is imported from the USA by multinational companies.
Under normal conditions, part of the free testosterone in the bloodstream is converted into oestrogen by the enzyme aromatase. However, atrazine enhances this enzyme, leading to extremely high levels of oestrogen in men. Read the work of Tyrone B. Hayes, a professor at the University of California, Berkeley. He studied the reproduction of frogs in water with 0.1 ppb/litre of atrazine. The developing frog larvae had 50% ovaries, 10% testes and 40% both ovaries and testes, so they were hermaphroditic. The permissible level of atrazine in drinking water today is 3 ppb/litre.
Another dangerous connection is Glyphosatewhich has the opposite effect. It blocks the enzyme aromatase. Polycytic ovaries are therefore becoming increasingly common in girls and women. Atrazine and glyphosate are hormonal herbicides. Just one millionth of a lethal dose acts as a hormone modulator in humans.
What can we do to prevent the negative effects?
Without the restoration of healthy Intestinal bacteria how it works Immune system not correct. This is because 70% of the immune system is located in the gut (GALT).
- Avoid ready-made products from Porkpoultry and soya.
- Also avoid foods with a high maize and soya content.
- Use organic products wherever possible. No synthetic chemical pesticides are used in organic cultivation - including glyphosate.
- Fulvicherb-Synergy with Fulvic acid was inspired by nature. The Milk thistle is one of the most powerful detoxifying agents. Its fruit extract contains the flavonolignan complex called silymarin. The components of the silymarin complex bind effectively to the cells of the liver and thus prevent harmful substances from entering the liver. The neutralising effect of silymarin helps the liver cells to better combat foreign and natural substances.
